On – 25 February 2022, the Victorian Government removed the recommendation for Victorians to work from home and the requirement to wear face masks in the office and during inspections or auctions. Face masks however are recommended for receptionists meeting guests.
The requirement for employees to be fully vaccinated in order to return to the workplace still applies. Currently, the definition of fully vaccinated is remaining as:
- having received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, or
- having a valid medical exemption to COVID-19 vaccination issued by an authorised medical practitioner.
This follows the announcement that QR codes are no longer required in the workplace and inspections and auctions.
